Monument Valley

I love watching movies! Now, you're probably wondering why I'm mentioning movies when it comes to Monument Valley. Well, watching movies and seeing the natural backdrops gets me excited to go out and experience them on my own.

Monument Valley has been the backdrop for many westerns and I just had to see it for myself. This natural phenomena has been taking shape for 100 of years and it did not disappoint.

When visiting you can drive through the valley, however, I recommend hiring a guide if you have the means. Hiring a guide will allow you to dive deeper into the Navajo history and culture and you will have access to off limit areas.

I am not much of a writer so I will attach a few photos that will hopefully speak for themselves and spark inspiration for your next road trip.

Forrest Gump ended his cross country run right there.
